We offer a fully managed firewall service. Many of our clients recognise the need to have their data protected 24x7x365 but lack the dedicated resources. Our certified security professionals implement and manage the appropriate security strategy for our clients business and take full responsibility for all aspects of network and data integrity.
The core benefits of a managed security service are:
- The service can be based on either, or both, the Cisco ASA and Nokia Checkpoint platforms.
- The technology is dedicated to each customer. Data Electronics does not recommend the use of shared services for a service as critical as security.
- Devices are installed within the client’s co-location space on the
data centre floor. - Removes the need for in-house capital equipment.
- Utilises the best-of-breed technology.
Data Electronics responsibilities includes:
- Provision of all hardware, software and licensing
- Firewalls are installed and configured by our certified Security Operations staff
- We complete all policy changes requested by customer
- Customer security policies are enforced by our Security Operation Centre (SOC).
- We permanently stock spares so in the event of a hardware failure we will swap the faulty device within guaranteed SLA
- We are responsible for all documentation management (including change control procedure)
Customers can have the peace of mind of knowing that their security is monitored 24 hours a day by certified security engineers and that the ‘Hot’ spares kept permanently in-stock are available at a moments notice.
